Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 The Coppermine Road Cabernet Sauvignon has a blackcurrant and dried herbs-scented nose with hints of fertile soil, tree bark and beef drippings. Medium to full-bodied with a chewy, slightly astringent structure and lively line, it is just a tad on the chewy and herbal side with some bitterness in the end. Reviewed by: Lisa Perrotti-Brown

Renowned for powerful, richly fruited Shiraz, most famously from the Barossa Valley, alongside age-worthy Cabernet and cool-climate whites. A warm climate and old, ungrafted vines produce wines of generosity and depth.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
