"A wine of prodigious proportions, the 2004 Pinot Noir Finn is fashioned from a blend of fruit from a Sonoma Coast vineyard on Occidental Road and Widdoes Vineyard. It sees more new oak (75%) than its siblings, and is aged on its lees for 15 months prior to bottling. It boasts superb intensity along with sweet aromas of roasted meats, berries, dried herbs, lavender, and spice. Broad, flavorful, and rich, with a savory flavor profile (damp earth, cola, cherries, and berries), Andy Smith believes it is the finest Finn cuvee they have yet made."
