"The 2013 Zinfandel Kirschenmann Vineyard emerges from a parcel of dry-farmed head-trained vines in Lodi planted on sandy soils. Hard candy, flowers, cinnamon, mint and sweet tobacco meld together in a pliant, supple Zinfandel built on texture and roundness. This is a striking Zinfandel loaded with varietal aromas, textures and flavors. I imagine the 2013 will offer a long and wide window of pure drinking pleasure."
