We are pleased to bring you 866 lots of outstanding and diverse wine from benchmark producers from around the world, including rare cases of Domaine de la Romanée Conti, pristine lots of OWC Bordeaux, California Cult Classics, and unique gems from Spain, Italy and Australia, and more. Introducing “A Doctor’s Carefully Curated Cellar”

Wines from this fantastic collection include solid cases of Mouton Rothschild, Lafite, Latour, Margaux and Petrus from the 2000 vintage, Lafite from 1985 and 1986, and Haut Brion from the underrated 1998 vintage. Additionally, an absolutely pristine 2000 Domaine de la Romanée Conti Assortment Case awaits the lucky buyer. Further lots include a perfect case of 1981 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne and single bottles of DRC from 2000 and 1997. The consignor is a well known doctor in Chicago who was an active collector for many years. He always intended to drink these incredible cases but has now prescribed himself a diet of less wine, thus opening up the cellar doors for new drinkers for these absolutely fantastic wines.
 
All wines are in pristine condition, there is nary a nick or scratch on the labels. He purchased all on release from local Chicago merchants and stored them in his custom built, temperature and humidity controlled wine cellar. They were removed by Spectrum Wine specialists for this sale. Bid with confidence.
