The wood this evidenced from cask has been almost completely absorbed and mixes with spicy black fruit aromas and intense earth and game notes. The opulent flavors are very ripe, in fact to the point where they display subtle mocha and coffee nuances and there is a black cherry liqueur quality to the sappy finish. The baby fat has largely disappeared and this has taken on a linear character on the finish. In short, this is classy juice with real breed.
