"Back to the quality insanity. There are two distinct parcels that make up the Ente Meursault villages, with one being harvested at 13.2% and the other at 12.8%- virtually unheard of numbers for vignerons who managed to get depth and concentration in their wines. And yet, the 2006 Meursault from Monsieur Ente is superb and classically balanced, as it offers up a beautiful bouquet of pear, apple, lime blossoms, a beautiful base of chalky soil tones and a deft touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is medium-full, cool and classy, with extreme elegance, beautiful mid-palate depth and great length and bounce on the finish. Flat out delicious wine."
