"The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Chalumaux 1er Cru comes from the oldest vines on the estate, planted in 1954. Now this has real complexity on the nose with intense malic fruit, fine mineralité and light sea spray nuances. The palate is well balanced with fine poise. This is a very elegant, suave Puligny that gentle unfolds on the finish, hints of blackcurrant leaf and nettle on the aftertaste. Excellent."
